Overview The Project Coordinator for Public Outreach and Community Engagement will play a critical role in supporting and implementing community-focused initiatives, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring effective communication between the organization and the public. This position requires excellent organizational skills, creativity, and a deep commitment to community involvement. Responsibilities Key Duties and Responsibilities: Community Engagement: Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage diverse community groups and encourage participation in organizational programs and initiatives. Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, local organizations, and government agencies to support collaborative efforts. Event Planning and Coordination: Organize and manage community meetings, workshops, and public forums, ensuring effective participation and meaningful dialogue. Communication: Create and distribute outreach materials such as newsletters, flyers, and social media content to inform and engage the public. Feedback Collection: Gather and analyze community feedback to assess program impact and inform future outreach strategies. Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on outreach activities, community feedback, and engagement outcomes for internal and external stakeholders. Project Support: Assist in project planning and implementation, ensuring alignment with community needs and organizational goals. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts, participation, and feedback in relevant databases. Qualifications: Qualifications Education Minimum of 10 years of experience in public outreach, community engagement, or project coordination. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proven organizational and time management skills. Experience with event planning and facilitation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: Experience working with diverse populations. Familiarity with data collection and analysis methods. Work Environment:This position may require occasional evening and weekend work to attend community events and meetings. Some travel within the community area may be necessary. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
