Role Introduction

You will be working in our Consumer Experiences (CX) Market, where you will have the opportunity to design and deliver on various types of fast-moving retail and Food & Beverage projects that anticipate the needs and lifestyle shifts of evolving users.

As a leader in our Consumer Experiences Market, the Senior Project Designer will lead teams and clients in a variety of project types. In this role, the Senior Project Designer will work in multi-disciplinary teams, leading and soliciting contributions from all levels of expertise. The Senior Project Designer should inspire design thinking and technical excellence, serving as a role model and leader for other team members. Project types may include retail, food & beverage, and entertainment projects.

 What your day will look like:

Leads clients and team through the entire or partial process of Concept, Schematic, and Design DevelopmentDevelops project design intent and goals for successful implementationLeads design presentations to clients and government authorities, including connecting retail principals to consumer behaviors and business objectivesWorks closely with Market Principals and Firm LeadersServes as a mentor to junior designers and contribute to their growth and developmentSupports marketing and business development activitiesCandidate should be available for domestic and international travel, as needed Requirements

 We're looking for someone who:

Bachelors/Masters in ArchitectureArchitectural licensure is preferred10+ years of retail design experience with shell and core design experience requiredExperienced with retail, FB&E trends, research and industryAbility to express concept via computer-generated visuals or hand-sketchingStrong conceptual and schematic design skillsStrong verbal presentation skills and proven ability to sell ideasAbility to lead specifications of materialityAbility to translate concept through technical application in partnership with architectural teamsProficient in 2D/3D software, including AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Powerpoint.Revit a plus

National Salary Ranges:

Senior Project Designer: $105,000 - $159,000

Please note that this role is a salaried and exempt position, and therefore, is not eligible for overtime pay.

If position is eligible for remote status, ranges may be adjusted. Acknowledging the time employees typically spend in the role, compensation is dependent on applicable years of experience and skillset.
