ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Power Projects team is currently handling a significant new build clean energy power project in SA and is searching for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team. 

As a member of a larger team, you will be based in our Underdale, SA office and report to the Senior Program Manager, collaborating closely with several internal stakeholders and frontline leaders. Your primary responsibility will be to provide practical construction expertise, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.

Your day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to:

Assess risks in construction to ensure safe execution and compliance with environmental and quality standards. Coordinate and manage construction engineering activities to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and quality-driven project delivery. Lead by example and consistently promote key aspects of Zero Harm when working with operational teams. Collaborate with project teams to form active and effective business improvements that eliminate waste and minimise operational costs. Take the lead in managing subcontractors while advising on commercial matters and performance.

ABOUT YOU

A Trade or Engineering (Electrical or similar) qualification and/or a Diploma in Project Management. Additionally, you must possess experience delivering electrical utility projects. High proficiency with computers and relevant software. Exposure to ElectraNet related projects a huge advantage. Superior communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders both upstream and downstream.
