Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteGlobal relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries in North America, mainly in Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tWorking with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.•\tCreating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.•\tCoordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.•\tCoaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.
Qualifications for the role\tExperience with automation products (Distributed Control Systems, Process Control Systems) and passion for these Engineering Solutions.\tStrong knowledge and experience with the Programming in IEC-61131 languages for Automation Controllers, Logics and Sequences.\tStrong knowledge and experience with Designing Graphics Displays, for Monitoring and Supervisory Control.\tStrong knowledge and experience in Projects Implementing Distributed Control Systems for the industry at least 6 years of experience.\tEase communicating in English and in Spanish.\tStrong Know in Site activities such as testing, Commisioning and support during starting up of Plants.\tElectrical Knowledge in DCS Cabinet design.\tFull Flexibility to travel.\tLeadership skills.\tGlobal mindset with a passion to work in diverse cultures.\tWork independently, and you are a team player who is flexible and open to new ideas.\tBachelor’s degree in Automation and Control Engineering or related.
