Senior Project Engineer

Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is targeting a remote Senior Project Engineer for our industrial power generation client. This individual will support our clients Transformer Services team by providing technical field support.
Responsibilities: Partner cross-functionally with internal operation teams Provide expertise related to field repairs and testing Review data to create and update test reports Support all US based field crews Coach colleagues when needed Complete studies for bushing retrofits Review oil DGA test results Perform internal inspections Assess non-OEM replacement components Conduct root cause analysis studies Improve procedures as needed Communicate project timelines Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 5 years of experience in a related role Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and AutoCAD Background in design and execution required Knowledge of industry standards such as IEEE, IEC, NEMA Experience in repairing of medium and large power oil filled transformer from multiple OEM’s Knowledge of reactor, rectifier, voltage regulating, and dry type transformers construction and design Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work within the US ** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
