Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.The work model for the role is: #hybridThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Business in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tProvide technical guidance and support to project teams, clients, and proposal team.•\tEngineering and design of DCS system for Industries e.g. Mining, Pulp & Paper, Cement, Metals, and others.•\tMaintain a strategic approach to project engineering, implementation and on-time completion with quality satisfaction•\tDeliver site installation supervision, commissioning, performance acceptance of DCS projects and services
Qualifications for the role\tDegree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline (B.Sc/ M.Sc/ B.Eng) with min.5 years hands-on experience with drive and automation system integration working experience for projects serving customers in the Pulp & Paper, Cement or Metals/Mining industries and power plant.\tExperience with software and design of e.g. control systems, VVVF applications.\tExperience with ABB Control Builder for drive system programming is a plus, Engineering and commissioning knowledge of ACS800/ACS880 Single and Multidrive, LV switchgears (MCC, PCC) is an advantage \tGood understanding and experience in preparing and supplying technical project documentation in accordance with customer requirements and specifications.\tMust be familiar with relevant codes, international standards, client Design Specifications and procedures, and have a thorough working knowledge of the latest design and analytical techniques.\tKnowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications, Autocad and/or VISIO software.\tGood English communication knowledge in writing and verbal.
