Monadelphous is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Engineering & Construction division. This role will primarily be focused on supporting our projects with system setup and providing training and support to our project personnel in our new Project Management System, along with general project engineering support to our operations.  

Ideally, we are looking for someone with a multi-disciplinary background with sound knowledge of project controls, cost management, field execution, use of 3D Models and experience using InEight or similar systems. This is a full time, permanent opportunity based in our Victoria Park office, however flexible options would be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Project Teams with setup of projects in accordance with business requirements within the InEight Platform.Provide Training and general support to Project Teams in the Project Management System.Capture , develop and test Opportunities for Improvement in collaboration with Functional Leads/Owners.Potential occasional visits to sites to provide in field support and training.Provide Project Engineering support to other areas of the business as required.Workpack development and aiding with planning, scheduling and executing the scope of work including organising project resources, equipment and materials/procurement as directed to meet project or contractual requirements.Work closely with Project Manager(s) to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety and quality.Manage the interface between the engineering and project delivery teams to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules and contract.Manage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required.Identify hazards and advise on safety procedures. Actively monitor work practices to ensure adherence to correct procedures and standards for safety and environmental performance Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to other members of the Engineering team.Compile schedule, cost, progress and forecast reports for the project; ensuring all schedule reporting requirements are met.Provide support to the project team and implement best practice on the project.

What you’ll bring:

Previous experience working for a contractor as a Experienced or Senior Project Engineer in the construction industry. Experience developing project/ construction schedules and work packs, completing progress reporting and monitoring milestones.Clear written and technical skills with demonstrated capability in commercials, budgets/construction metrics and change management.Systems experience, ideally using InEight or similar software.A can-do attitude and willingness to share knowledge with and mentor others.Relevant tertiary qualification.Point of hire - Perth
