Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.The work model for the role is: #LI-onsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation – Energy division in the India region.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tWorking with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.•\tCreating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.•\tCoordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.•\tCoaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects

Qualifications for the role

\tYou enjoy working on the Industrial automation in the field of thermal or solar or hydro or gas.\tYou hold a diploma or an engineering degree in electrical or electronics or Instrumentation\tMinimum 6 to 9 years of experience in Automation world either through engineering, commissioning or testing of automation systems\tExperience in HMI or Application Development and working experience in power plants (thermal or solar or hydro or gas), closed loop control system for power plant applications and S plus.\tKnowledge of structural and functional architecture of control systems and interfaces (Profibus, Modbus, OPC, IEC61850,etc.)\tYou are proficient in English, both written and verbal.
