Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Civil PE to join one of Colorado's largest full-service structural and civil engineering providers. The selected candidate will work with the Civil Engineer locally in executing business development efforts in the Albuquerque area and assist in the design portion of projects won.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in conceptual design.Determine fees and prepare proposals.Fill out Project Setup Forms and review/fill out work authorizations.Establish a QA/QC plan for each project.Mentor engineers and assist with their career development.Attend project meetings and represent the company during design and construction.Follow up on the collection of account receivables.Essential SkillsProficient in AutoCAD Civil 3DCivil engineeringLand developmentDesign engineeringProject managementSite developmentQA/QCProposal developmentMust have a PE licenseAt least 2 years of experience in business development, meeting with potential clients, and winning projectsProficient in Civil 3D (7/10)Additional Skills & QualificationsTen years minimum of progressive civil engineering design experienceExcellent time management and organizational skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently for extended periodsStrong written, technical, and interpersonal skillsCommitted to client services and a team-based approachAttention to detail, delivering quality work products, and excellent client servicesAbility to work with a wide variety of clients, regulators, and authoritiesProven marketing/business development skillsHas a PE license in the State of New Mexico or the ability to obtain one within six monthsWork Environment

The position offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00

Our civil teams focus on site and infrastructure design including traffic/transportation, parking, street layout/lighting, water and wastewater utilities, stormwater drainage, circulation, paving, surveying, security issues, and other site considerations.
