We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support an exciting biographite production project in Finland, contributing to the electric battery industry’s sustainable future. The Role: Senior Project Engineer
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will oversee engineering coordination and project execution, ensuring seamless collaboration across disciplines, project management, procurement, and contractors. You will be instrumental in delivering a cutting-edge biographite production facility, supporting the global shift towards sustainable battery materials.

Reporting to: Project Engineering Manager / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate engineering workflows between disciplines and project management teams. Support planning, scheduling, and technical documentation to ensure smooth execution. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective measures. Facilitate engineering reviews, resolving technical challenges between disciplines Assist in the development of the project execution plan and coordination procedures. Ensure compliance with international standards, safety, and quality protocols. Track and report project milestones, subcontractor performance, and material deliveries. Manage the handover process, ensuring all documentation meets client requirements. Conduct post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
What You Bring: Experience in FEED, Detailed Design, and EPC projects. Strong knowledge of engineering disciplines and international specifications Familiarity with construction, procurement, and commissioning processes Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chartered status preferred) Experience in the energy, battery, or process industries preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple contractors
