This is a project based role with the following key responsibilities:
Lead the mechanical design team on assigned projects, including coordinating and allocating tasksAttending sales and project review meetingsDevelop system designs and layoutsManage design schedule, budget and work ordersLiaise with Project Managers, architects, builders, consultants and purchasing teamCheck and approve drawings, calculations and technical documentationDevelop mechanical installation work packages and inspection and test plansProvide technical support and advice to other areas of the business and junior employeesAssist with system commissioning and testingThe candidate will be responsible for managing the mechanical design and delivery aspects of large and complex integrated systems. This will include managing resources at a project team level, controlling relevant budgets, adhering to the overall project schedule, working with other teams in a cross functional design aspect and reporting progress to the Mechanical Design Manager
