The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for managing and executing CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) project by driving project and contractor safety to ensure that the project is being executed on in a well-managed way to meet time frame, budget and quality including requirements of safety management system and quality management system.
Core Responsibilities:
Create – Review the basic design for process improvement and modification, mass and energy balances, equipment selection and utility requirements for future projects.Design – Work with external local or international consulting engineers to provide process operating conditions, equipment specification and control system design. Also work with local and international corporate engineering teams of Ingredion to collaborate on design details.Develop – Review scope of project to meet the business and operational requirements.Preparation – Review project cost estimates and project proposal for management review and approval for CAPEX project.Manage – CAPEX project by planning, controlling and managing the cost, time, scope and quality of projects to meet the approved budget, schedule, scope of work, and project benefit.Execution – Ensure safe construction, review process installation for adherence to requirements and quality, supervise controls system programming and controls system commissioning.Qualified candidates will have:
Mandatory requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical engineering or Mechatronic EngineeringWork experience in food and chemical industry is preferred or field design from engineering firmsHands-on experience in CAPEX project management, preferably has experience managing project size above 200M THB as a lead project engineer or PM.Good understanding of industry standards and regulations in food manufacturing.Demonstrated ability to successfully manage all engineering activities including multiple capital projects and permits in a plant environment.English fluency, both written and spoken
