About the Role

This boutique architectural studio, specialising in industrial and commercial design, are seeking a skilled Interior Designer/Project Lead to drive projects from concept through to construction. This role involves working closely with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to deliver effective design solutions and would suit collaborative and adaptable individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage projects from initial concept design to final construction. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Develop and present design solutions that meet client and project requirements. Coordinate with consultant teams to ensure seamless project execution. Provide leadership and guidance to small project teams, fostering a collaborative environment. Address and resolve design challenges and ensure alignment with project goals and standards.

Skills and Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in a design or architecture-related role. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and consultants. Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Suite. In-depth knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards. Prior experience in Interior Design is advantageous. Expertise in concept design, design resolution, and construction detailing. Proven ability to lead and manage small teams. Registration as an Architect is preferred but not required. Experience in industrial or commercial projects is a plus. Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
