Ware Malcomb has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join the Architecture team in our Nashville, TN office!
Senior Project Managers are responsible for the management of entire projects, from start to finish including conceptual, schematic, design development, construction documentation and construction services. You will be responsible for leading consultants, internal resources, overseeing the development of contract documents, adhering to budgets, facilitating contracts, construction site representation, and are a primary client contact throughout the life of a project.
This position would work on workplace, retail and/or other commercial projects that bridge Interior Design and Architecture. Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:Responsible for the management of the projects, start to finish, you are the project leader. Utilize the company's resource groups for design, preparation of design and construction documents.Provide construction services (Site visits, review shop drawings, etc.)Be the key contact with the client, and their consultants and representatives. Achieve repeat clients through great customer service.Responsible for local, county, state and federal project code searches and analysis for each project.Be responsible for the financial success of all responsible projects.Monthly review and comment on project budget reports, invoices, and pre-billing reports.Be a technical resource (Codes and construction) to other Ware Malcomb PM/PAs.Communicate with clients, brokers, contractors, consultants, and team members.Mentor, train, and lead assigned team members.Create and lead a positive, team-oriented environment.Senior Project Manager Qualifications:10+ years of experience managing corporate, workplace, retail and/or commercial interior design and architecture projects  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, or related field.Licensed Architect or in the licensure process requiredAutoCAD and Revit skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and NewformaThorough knowledge of building codesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documentsEstablished in 1972, Ware Malcomb is a contemporary and expanding full service design firm providing professional architecture, planning, interior design, civil engineering, branding and building measurement services to corporate, commercial/residential developer and public/institutional clients throughout the world.
