Senior Project Manager, Design & Construction

**Job Summary**
Responsible for managing the Scope, Schedule & Budget for major capital construction projects. Projects range from $80-$120M and have significant impact on corporate financial and operational commitments. Assist in developing long range capital plans & forecasts as well as SME for each region related to new construction / renovation projects. Take the lead on new technology projects within Sysco and oversee their implementation (Electric Vehicle & Photovoltaic, alternate energy).
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Actively managing the scope, schedule & budget of assigned capital projects. Ensure capital projects are fully delivered within the assigned timeframe and budget. Provide notification to management if there will be a deviation from expectation and provide mitigation plans. Capital projects range from new builds to expansions and renovations.
+ Develop bid documents with Developers/General Contractors to execute Sysco capital projects while protecting the corporation’s interest.
+ Mediate and resolve project conflicts. Define, negotiate, execute contractual obligations in support of Sysco Capital Projects.
+ Providing status reports to all project stakeholders, EAM leadership and ELT.
+ Developing “all encompassing” construction estimates for future capital project to be incorporated into FY plan
+ Assist EAM facilities with renovations and emergency work
**Education Required:**
BS in Engineering / Construction / Related Field
**Education Preferred:**
MS or MBA
**Experience Required**
15 years minimum
**Experience Preferred:**
20 **Licenses/Certification Preferred:**
PE, PMP, LEED AP (BD&C)
**Technical Skills and Abilities:**
Ability to read and understand blueprints, contracts, engineering documents.
