Job Description
As a Senior Project Manager in the Drug Product Pilot Plant, (DPPP) you will drive internal and external manufacturing strategies to ensure timely availability of clinical drug product. Driving the connection between the scientific development organizations and drug product manufacturing sites. Ensure drug product manufacturing is executed with quality and efficiency. Achieve these objectives by bringing scientific acumen, strategic thinking, innovation, and experience to address risks and challenges. Collaborate across multiple disciplines and will have strong ability to influence in matrix organization and senior leaders.
Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for creating appropriate internal/external manufacturing strategies and work orders for to ensure timely availability of clinical DP supplies.
+ Support development and manufacturing activities at different manufacturing sites and be available to participate in call across multiple international time zones.
+ Identifies, develops, communicates and tracks project timelines, activities, logistics and milestones. Contributes towards operational efficiencies and brings innovative solutions to solve problems.
+ Lead the manufacturing of drug product from planning through execution via cross functional matrix and influences cross functional stakeholders. Delegates and assigns activities at the appropriate level.
+ Work closely with AbbVie’s purchasing, fiancé, regulatory and quality organizations to ensure that all drug product manufacturing activities are performed in compliance with AbbVie’s internal requirements for quality, finance, ethics and regulatory.
+ Support DP pilot plant in material sourcing and manufacturing activities.
+ Ownership of key deliverables to the overall clinical supply chain teams
Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day)
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in physical science, math, engineering or pharmacy. Advance degree preferred.
+ 3 years total experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred, but not required.
+ Must have experience in one of the following areas: Process Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, formulation, Clinical Project Management, Supply Chain Clinical Supplies Project Management, Quality Assurance.
+ Proficient in the application of standard business requirements (for example SOPs, Global Regulations, OEC,).
+ Must understand the importance of compliance in a regulated environment and be capable of applying this knowledge to improve current processes.
+ Capable of representing PM as participant in and contributor to cross functional initiatives.
+ Ability to work collaboratively across departments/functions and interact in a tactful, professional, and effective manner.

Salary: $91,500 - $173,500
