What you will do:
In this role, you will be part of the Program Management team for the Endoscopy Business Unit. Endoscopy is the leader in the Surgical Visualization space and develops products that allow surgeons to see and do more. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be a critical resource in carrying out this mission to make healthcare better through innovative product development.
You will lead cross-functional teams from R&D, Marketing, Quality and Operations in planning and launching new products or changes to existing products to the market. You will manage all aspects of the project so having a deep understanding of the business case for your projects is critical to make appropriate tradeoffs.
To be successful in this role, you should be a leader that people want to follow. You should be an experienced Project Manager with a successful track record of delivering new products to external customers.
Primary roles and responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional New Product Development teams to successful product launches and/or updates to existing products.
Define and manage project scope, budget and schedule.
Work closely with engineering and marketing to problem solve issues as they arise and lead the team towards timely decision making that considers business, quality and compliance trade-offs.
Manage the project plan by identifying critical path, constraints, contingencies and risks to achieve project and business objectives.
Communicate project status and escalate risks to stakeholders.
Ensure Design Controls and Quality System procedures are followed.
Deliver all technical and business requirements asked of the project. Provide Lessons Learned, Best Practices and Resource management recommendations.
What you need:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar field
3+ years of project management experience
3+ years of engineering experience in new product development
Preferred
Medical device experience
PMP or equivalent
$127,400- $210,100 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
