SUMMARY
This position is responsible for planning, supervising, and inspecting remodeling and construction projects for the Medical Center. This position ensures that all projects are completed on time, on budget, conform to plan specifications and codes and meet the level of quality desired. This position is responsible for obtaining bids and negotiating contracts and will work according to Trinity Health policies and procedures for capital construction management. The incumbent serves as Saint Agnes' representative to architects, engineers, and contractors for the assigned projects and supervises their work. The incumbent approaches each project by developing a collaborative team of stakeholders, consulting departments, outsourced consultants, and other stakeholders required to ensure a successful project. This position will also be responsible for communication and coordination of project milestones.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Accreditation / Licensure
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or Business or relevant work experience required. Years of experience will be considered.Experience
Minimum 12 years of experience in architectural design and/or construction project management.Minimum 3 years of experience managing large, complex healthcare projects.Must demonstrate financial and operational management skills and demonstrate the ability to analyze technical estimating and budgeting tools for construction. Must have experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications. Must be familiar with building codes. Basic drafting experience / CAD (Computer aided drafting)Capital project management software use for project budget and schedule management.Additional Qualifications (nice to have)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) - Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC)Pay Range ($61.71 - $92.58)
