Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Manager, focused on Metro planning and delivery to join the team.
In this role, you will lead the planning and delivery of metro projects within the program, ensuring operational consistency and successful execution across all project phases. You will coordinate with key delivery partners, including Jacobs and Mace, as well as QIC and existing and future contractors, to ensure seamless integration and execution. This role is integral to implementing agreed strategies and best practices while managing complex metro transportation challenges with innovative solutions.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
**Project Leadership & Coordination**
+ Lead planning and delivery for the metro program, ensuring consistency across all operational aspects.
+ Coordinate with key delivery partners, including Jacobs, Mace, QIC, existing contractors, and future major contractors.
+ Implement program strategies through the delivery of PMP’s and other key documents in line with best practices.
+ Oversee the application of advanced engineering principles and ensure compliance across all teams.
+ Provide innovative solutions to complex metro transportation challenges in collaboration with functional leads.
+ Facilitate partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations impacted by the program.
**Team Management & Development**
+ Assign work to employees, oversee, and track the completion of work assignments.
+ Conduct interviews and select personnel for assignments as required.
+ Maintain high work standards and provide training and development opportunities for the team.
+ Complete performance evaluations, provide employee counseling, and take corrective action when necessary.
+ Foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement within the project teams.
**Compliance & Operational Excellence**
+ Ensure adherence to corporate, contractual, ethics, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
+ Drive best practices and ensure quality and safety across all project operations.
+ Monitor contractor performance and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve project objectives.
+ Perform other responsibilities as required to support the successful delivery of metro projects.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
+ Minimum 12-15 years of experience in mega construction projects, with strong metro development and delivery experience across multi-disciplinary and functional teams.
+ Extensive experience managing significant metro contracts and working in challenging multi-partner environments.
+ Strong leadership and management skills with a proven ability to work in and lead complex teams.
+ Safety Qualification / Awareness Training.
+ Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
