Gilbane Development Company seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple projects as part of its expanding Public-Private Partnership (P3) platform.  The candidate must have a keen understanding of the design/construction of multi-family housing, and be able to manage the day-to-day implementation of multiple projects, including coordination of architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure all cost, quality, and schedule objectives are achieved. 

 

 

Responsibilities Provide leadership in motivating the project team and maintain a positive work environmentAct as on site Owner’s representative, ensuring all Owner’s project goals are attainedManage the Owner’s portions of the project using established project controls and procedures, including bidding and contracting for owner scope of workReview, coordinate, and approve monthly pay app requests with internal finance department and/or lenderEstablish and implement project controls and proceduresPerform constructability and coordination reviewsCommunicate with owners, architects and subcontractors related to project risk, timetables, costs/budgets, and change managementPerform pre-construction planning, scheduling, and cost controlBuy-out of jobs by determining the contracting strategy for the project and preparing front-end documents and bid processes under various project delivery modelsCapable of working with local municipalities and Design Team on revisions or corrections during constructionCollaborate with the development staff during the due diligenceCo-lead the design phases of a project, with collaboration from the development staff, to ensure constructability and cost controlWork with the General Contractor to assist with their buy-out of job and value engineering to ensure overall project budget is maintainedPrepare monthly reports including cost, schedule, safety, cash flow, etc. for internal and/or external useProvide jobsite leadership in the area of safety and qualityUphold and represent Gilbane’s core values and reputation.Prepare contingency plans for potential risks, expanding contractual services and project profitTravel will be as required for each Project Qualifications BS or MS degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management10+ years of Project Management experience on projects valued at $50 million or largerOr equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.

The pay ranges from $135,000.00 - $207,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
