Ameresco provide Project Management and Project Consultancy Services incorporating all elements of a project lifecycle. There is a growing business for battery storage as we deliver clean renewable energy to customers. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong electrical background to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking clients projects from the initial idea or specification stage, through to Detailed Design, Build, Acceptance Testing, and installation and on to commissioning.
The Senior Project Manager may work on a variety of client projects at any one time depending on the size and scope of the work. The role will provide strong leadership in a matrix environment to promote best practices in managing interrelated projects and programmes to ensure successful delivery. Initial role will be as Senior Project Manager for the largest BESS project in the North England, UK.

Overall responsibility for the delivery of largest BESS project in the North England, UK.Green energy including large scale ground mounted solar experienceExtremely strong project or programme management and excellent organisational skills are fundamental, as is the ability to consult with people at all levels of the organisation.The skills preferred for this classification are leadership, risk management, negotiation, time management, detailed oriented and budgeting.Ensure project scope, goals and deliverables are budgeted, and planned to meet the objectives of the clients' "Project Brief".Define project tasks and resource requirements; develop full scale project plans.Assemble and coordinate project resources and manage the entire project budget.Plan and schedule project timelines; tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools.Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and Quality assuranceConstantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholdersContinually review new and existing technical developments to ensure sustainability for client's developments.Manage Project Engineers and Contractor's activities in line project requirements and company procedures.Coach and support the operational side of engineering prior, during and after project implementation.Ensure projects meet the requirements not only of the Client but also any relevant regulative bodies.Project Development - Support bid development teams to review, approve relevant Project, Construction and Programme sections of proposals. Attend bidder’s day, bid presentation meetings as required and assist in the preparation of presentation materials.Review and approve capital budgets, the preparation of capital budgets depending on the size and complexity of the project.People are important to our business and therefore the ability to interface with other disciplines within the engineering design office and project delivery teams is a vital skill that we look for in all members of our team.Specific responsibilities:
