Senior Project Manager - Position Description

We have immediate hire openings for Senior Project Manager to join our PMS 377 Team supporting Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Washington, DC, who wants to grow with the Company. Security Clearance:

Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities:

·        Serve as the Project Manager for the Program Management, Admin, BFM, and Cost Estimating teams.

·        Responsible for the delivery of timely, high quality and accurate deliverables. 

·        Assists the Program Office in the acquisition, financial health/status management, production, and delivery of cognizant programs.

·        Ensures team members are properly trained and knowledgeable in their area of responsibilities in support PMS 377, including access to relevant databases and systems.

Experiences:

        15 years professional experience in the Program Management and/or Defense Acquisition field.         15 years DoD/Navy in program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management.         DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Naval Science and Technology (S&T) Strategies and Future Naval Capabilities (FNC) programs; Foreign Military Sales

Education Requirements:

·        Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline

·        Master's degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline. Preferred

·        Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred
