As Senior Project Manager you will support the Advisory team within the Energy portfolio. Demonstrating a passion to work collaboratively with our client teams to deliver their complex projects to time, cost and quality with a commitment to safety. We are looking for people who can demonstrate the following: 
 

Take ownership of and responsibility for the successful delivery of your projectDevelop and deliver of business casesDeliver complex technical projects within a highly regulated industryPreparing and maintaining schedules, including dependencies and resourcesIdentifying and monitoring project risks and opportunitiesQuality management processes for project activities and outputsManaging stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interestsEstablishing and maintaining project governance reviewsDeveloping and managing teamsManaging suppliers

 

What you will contribute to the team;

Candidate Specification :

Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant subjectFull UK Driving LicenceAPM PMQ level qualified or equivalent Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM)Proven track record in project delivery, preferably in the Nuclear sector or similar technical sectors;Ability to work with and manage external suppliersCommercial awarenessWorking knowledge of project management software and toolsetsPlease be advised that offers for this role are conditional upon obtaining the appropriate level of Security Clearance.

The Advisory and Programme Delivery (APD) unit delivers management services in all the sectors that Mott MacDonald operate in the Built Environment, Defence, Energy, Water, Transportation and, Education, Health and Care. 

The Unit delivers services to projects ranging in scale and complexity up to £20bn, through the technical disciplines of Programme Management, Project Management, Project Controls, Scheduling, Cost Management, Estimating, Infrastructure Finance, Management Consulting, Digital Consulting and Education, Health and Care Management. 

Defence & energy 
With extensive experience in the global defence sector, Mott MacDonald’s advisory and programme delivery teams deliver projects ranging from complex infrastructure upgrades to carbon reduction initiatives.   
Our experience in energy ranges from nuclear, renewables, hydro, thermal to electricity and gas, providing services to a global customer base within the energy sector, supporting the delivery of major capital projects and the transition to low-carbon generation.
