The Senior Project Manager will provide overall management direction for existing projects and develop new business opportunities relative to a particular client, group of clients, geographical area or type of client.

 

DESCRIPTION:

As a Senior Project Manager at WDF you will have the opportunity to: 

Plan, organize and staff key field positions through regional departmental heads, subordinate project managers, construction managers, etc. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy. Initiate and maintain liaison with client and A/E contacts to facilitate construction activities. Monitor/Control construction through administrative direction of on-site superintendent ensure project is built on schedule and within budget Represent company in project meetings, assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect companies interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client Additional responsibilities as directed

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution and 15 or more years of project management experience including but not limited to knowledge of construction, design, finance and management Experience with NYC area building construction projects valued at 100 million+ Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices and process standards Strong MS Office skills; Knowledge of industry software (i.e. scheduling, estimating) Excellent written and verbal skills  

                      Expected salary range for this position is $191,000 - $218,000 depending on experience
