Senior Project Manager
The primary responsibility of the Senior Project Manager is to provide project level oversight including customer relations, contract and job cost management, planning and forecasting. Perks of working at ColonialWebb: + Competitive salary + Opportunities for career growth, training, and development + 401(k) plan with a generous company match + Personal leave, paid holidays, bereavement leave + Excellent Medical, dental, vision, and Rx drug insurance + Phone allowance / company phone + Car allowance and fuel card + Tuition reimbursement + Employee referral incentives + Scholarship program for employees’ children + Discounts at major automotive, computer, and cell phone companies A day in the life: + Maintain strict adherence to all company safety rules, regulations, procedures and practices + Share the “Courage to Care” message with teammates and serve as a positive example of safety + Study/develop schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job + Work with Supply Chain Manager to procure materials, equipment and subcontracts + Review/author RFIs and review responses to determine scope of impact + Provide information project team to promote design, fabrication and ensure project execution + Interpret project specifications and make decisions relating to equipment, materials and subcontractors + Assist project Superintendents with daily operations and supervise Assistant Project Managers/Project Managers/Project Engineers + Ensure that regular and timely project meetings are occurring as needed for successful job completion + Responsible for owning project forecasts for revenue, cost-to-complete and expected gross profit + Assume primary responsibility for redemption of equipment, material, and subcontractor estimates; assume secondary responsibility for labor and other costs + Act as liaison with Virtual Construction Department, including, but not limited to: + Provide required detailing information + Work to resolve conflicts + Discuss ideas to increase project profitability + Plan and coordinate the requirements of projects with the General Superintendent/Superintendent You should have: + A minimum of five years of commercial/industrial project management experience + Experience of hands-on management of projects with a scope of work exceeding $10m + Ability to manage continuous flow of material and labor for large projects lasting a year or more + Mechanical and/or plumbing trade knowledge + OSHA 30-hour certification and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations + Ability to read and understand project related documents in the English language + Ability to use current technology (i.e., laptop computer, tablet, smartphone, Microsoft Teams) + Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with internal and external customers + Ability to demonstrate foresight and problem-solving skills to make decisions based on information at hand + Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment + Ability to coordinate and perform multiple activities in a timely manner + Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and remain calm when handling emergencies Apply online: www.ColonialWebb.com/careers.
