Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:

POWER Engineers' Generation Business Unit is seeking a Senior Project Manager. The qualified candidate may serve as project manager on a single large project or several smaller projects concurrently. This position requires discretion and independent judgment in the execution of projects. The qualified candidate will be based in one of our office in Boise, Idaho. A hybrid work schedule will be offered, which means that you will be able to work in an office, as well as from the comfort of your own home. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Project Proposal and budget development Managing large budget Generation Projects for multiple disciplines Responsible for the execution, coordination, schedule, and maintaining integrity of assigned projects, including compliance with contractual requirements, as well as acceptable engineering/design practices and quality control Responsible for maintaining corporate and generation division quality procedures Must be able to organize and manage projects to meet or exceed the scheduled time frame, budget, and other related goals Will regularly interact with clients, so must be able to communicate effectively and resolve technical and commercial project issues The candidate will be responsible for business development, developing proposals, and making presentations Projects may be domestic or international so some travel may be required  Required Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Minimum of 15 years of related work experience Experience in the EPC industry with a focus on power plant design work Experience in a wide range of power plant technologies is valued including biomass, municipal waste, geothermal, hydrogen production and applications, carbon capture, BESS, hydro, wind, solar, gas-fired and/or coal – subject matter expertise is less important than the ability to lead and manage complex projects Good understanding of commercial terms and conditions and ability to negotiate the same Proven ability to estimate, scope, schedule, and budget projects and keep projects on track in all these areas post-award Commitment to high-quality work and maintaining the professional reputation and client relationships that bring repeat business Desired Education/Experience: Licensed Engineer Ability to work independently with minimum supervision Excellent communication skills and team player
