We are seeking an experienced & highly motivated Senior Project Manager (SPM) to work as part of the Managed & Professional Services project management team. The role requires you to have a strong focus on ensuring our customers are delivered a high-quality project management service in line with agreed deliverables, efficiently, on budget and on schedule. You will need to be able to communicate effectively and confidently while easily building rapport with customers from all levels of business.

As a Senior Project Manager, you play a pivotal role in steering projects towards successful completion. You possess strategic thinking and meticulous attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly as problems arise. You strive to find efficiencies in processes and procedures, enjoy data driven outcomes and fixing roadblocks for team members and customers. You thrive collaborating in a team environment, have excellent communication skills, are perceptive and approachable. The successful candidate would use their significant experience to assist with the ongoing mentoring and development of fellow team members.

YOUR ROLE

Working from either our Melbourne Office or Sydney Office , your role will include:

Manage enterprise level and complex strategic customer projects,Establish clear project objectives, create comprehensive timelines and ensure project phases are completed on time and adjusted as schedule changes,Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are within approved limits without compromising project quality,Provide consistent and transparent communication with stakeholders, including progress reports and status updates,Facilitate meetings to discuss project progress, issues and solutions, fully owning and driving the agenda,Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Implement risk response plans and monitor their effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle,Identify areas for process improvement and drive changes alongside PMO to enhance productivity and efficiency on projects and deliverables,Build strong relationships with internal teams, create rapport with customers and partners to ensure successful delivery of projects,Engage in strategic thinking to evaluate evolving project and service needs. Identify and drive areas for continual operational improvement,Obtain and evaluate customer feedback, continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships,Ensure a successful handover to BAU by developing change management and communication plans, organising training and knowledge transfer sessions, establishing a support structure, listing and scheduling transition activities, managing risks, and monitoring performance post-transition

YOUR EXPERIENCE

To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:

Minimum 5-7 years effective experience within project management roles & complex project management engagements, preferably within IT & Cybersecurity,Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects and or projects with multiple streams and their associated tasks, schedules, resources and budgets,Project management (e.g. Prince2, PMP, Agile, or equivalent) & ITIL 4 certifications required,Experience in service delivery, managing and building customer relationships, including continual service improvement,Proven ability to coach, mentor, lead and motivate others.
