Position Description:

We are searching for Senior project manager for managing the large projects to implement SW solutions mainly in energy sector.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As Senior project manager, you will be responsible for:
• Bidding, estimations, planning and management of large implementation projects (covering business consultancy, analysis and design, implementation and development, testing, migrations, go-live, post-implementation support)
• Assigning proper resources, time management and budgeting of the project
• Delivery of project deliverables in time, within budget and with required quality
• Communication with the client, management of client’s expectations and understanding the client’s objectives
• Management of project scope and change management
• Management of team of SW developers and consultants
• Management of suppliers and sub-contractors
• Conducting the regular meetings with both the client and the team
• Risk and problem management
• Supervision of project reporting
• Bid management or participation on bids preparation within international teams
• Identification of new opportunities with clients
• Participating in the career development of the members of the project team and completing staff performance reports
• Application of proper project management methodologies and approaches
• Participation on development of project management practice in a company

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must have skills and experience:
• Knowledge and practical experience with PM methodology, incl. certification:
o PRINCE2 Practicioner
o or PMI – PMP
o or other comparable certificate
• Proven experience (min 5 years) as a project manager of large IT/solution implementation or system integration projects:
o At least 3 projects of > 8 mil EUR revenue
o At least 3 projects of > 18 months duration
o At least 3 project with > 30 persons
o Project with > 10k person days effort
o Project that included coordination of subcontractors
• Experience with various aspects of Project management:
o Management of delivery on vendor side
o Planning and budgeting
o Management of project teams
o Management of sub-deliveries and sub-contractors
o Client communication
o Change management
o Risk management
o Bid management
• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s, preferably technical or economical
• Fluency in English and Czech/Slovak languages
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and team members
• Strategic thinking
• Analytical thinking
• Presentation skills
• Flexibility and mobility
Skills and experience that are an advantage:
• Industry experience in Energy or Utilities
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
