We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Blume Business Solutions team in Bradford (BD4) on a permanent basis – Hybrid working minimum 2 days office based.

Collaborating closely with operational and technology-focused specialists and our customers, the Senior Project Manager will oversee the successful daily delivery of digital transformation projects and B2B products.

From discovery through deployment, and ongoing CI/CD and maintenance, this crucial role ensures our strategic goals are met as we expand our customer base and enhance our operational services using cutting-edge technologies, automation, and AI.

As a software delivery expert, your focus will be on continuously enabling, optimising, and driving quality, performance, and value from all delivery teams, both internal and external. You will need to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels, mitigate risks, control costs, and make informed recommendations based on complex issues to exceed expectations and achieve results.

What will you be doing?

Lead the execution of the release backlog throughout the entire project, utilising agile/scrum delivery methodologies, artifacts, and best practices to effectively manage specialists and stakeholders within the agreed scope, budget, and deadlines.Collaborate with customers, subject matter experts, product managers, design and technology specialists, security/privacy teams, and suppliers to ideate and implement digital solutions that meet business and user requirements, achieving impactful outcomes and measurable results.Ensure the creation, management, and maintenance of essential documentation, including defined and agreed scope, user stories, delivery plans, sprint plans, action logs, registers, etc.Work closely with product and delivery team members to ensure a clear understanding and agreement of actions, expectations, and timings, while ensuring activities are recorded and tracked through to successful completion.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support, develop, and engage employees in the team’s strategic efforts, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, accountability, and autonomy.Provide direction and support to team colleagues, promoting their growth and ensuring alignment with overall team goals.

Essential:

Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or in a similar role within a software/product development environment, utilising methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a track record of engaging with senior leadership teams (SLT).Proficiency in working with cloud technologies and delivering projects focused on software and data engineering.In-depth knowledge of the product and software development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and iterative design and development processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of making data-driven decisions.Resilient, organized, motivated, and adaptable when facing changing priorities.Highly organised, conscientious, resourceful, and focused on ensuring the product roadmap is delivered on target.

Desirable:

Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and a user-centric approach to product development.Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, with awareness of AI offerings being a bonus.
