Seeking a motivated Project Manager that will Initiate, Agitate and Doesn’t Wait. As a Project Manager you will take the lead in driving the successful implementation of Flexera One IT Asset Management, IT Visibility, SaaS Manager, and Cloud Cost Optimization products for enterprise customers within budget, schedule and scope. The ideal candidate is expected to thrive on understanding each customer’s specific needs and first and foremost will work to ensure that the Flexera solutions meet those needs. The ideal candidate will also be adept at managing relationships, collaborating and influencing across a variety of organizational functions. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, proactive behaviors and excellent follow-through skills, ability to thrive in dynamic environment and laser focus on Customer Success are key to the success in this role.
You will own multiple ongoing outcome driven engagements and communicate directly with the customers and their IT teams both onsite and remotely. As the Project Manager interfacing with customers, you will be a team player and will help resolve issues and minimize friction during implementations and also anticipate issues that may not have yet surfaced so that they can be resolved before they become major roadblocks. You will rely on both your interpersonal and technical skills since your domain will include customer management, project estimation and delivery, resource allocation and schedule management, cost management, issue management, scope management, and risk identification/management.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Agile methodology and how to use/apply it in leading Cloud projects and will have a strong services and sales focus, partnering with the Sales and Customer Success teams to maximize client value for both software and services.
To succeed in this role, you must have hands-on customer management and project management skills as well as a strong drive to help customers achieve their business goals.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of delivery specialists across multiple client engagementsDeliver 4-8 concurrent client projects on time and on budget per quarterResponsible for achieving target utilization, customer success and margin metrics per quarterManage project initiation, planning, execution, control and closureConduct daily standup/scrum meetings with the project team to track progressCreate and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing requirementsCreate and distribute project status updates to the relevant customer and Flexera stakeholdersManage project plan and budget; Manage project scope and change management processesIdentify, allocate and mange project resources; Identify and manage project risks and issuesDevelop, maintain and manage day-to-day client relationships and interaction with customersExecute Quality Assurance reviews of projects; Manage project tollgate activitiesEstimate work effort and manage resource constraints; track project milestones and deliverablesPartner with other cross-functional areas of business to improve business processesFormalize project acceptance criteria and obtain client approvalsConduct project lessons-learned reviews and incorporate improvements into future projectsAssist in developing Statement of Work / Change Requests where applicableDevelop/Adhere/Contribute to project standards, templates, repositories, body of knowledge best practicesFacilitate team and customer meetingsTravel as needed to support customer engagements (~25% of the time)Required Skills/Qualifications:
BS in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred)7-10 years managing customer facing projects, business applications and/or other IT projects4-6 years’ experience as Project Manager managing client facing engagementsSaaS background most likely working for a software vendor, partner or a software division of a large multinational company with experience in consulting, project management, and customer management Familiarity with cloud and IaaS technologies; Experience delivering on SaaS platformsFoundational understanding of Software Asset Management technologiesStart to finish implementation of multiple projects simultaneously of varying size and complexityStrong knowledge of project management and implementation methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)Excellent written and verbal communication skills and project management skillsPrevious customer-facing/consulting experience leading Cloud projects (cloud concepts/technology)Thrive in a strong customer-servicing ethosTechnically savvy with business acumenKnowledge of JIRA, Salesforce, Financial Force, Box, Microsoft Tools - Teams, OneNote, Project, Word and ExcelUse initiative to identify issues and proactively drive them to resolutionDesired Skills:
