Job Description:

This position is responsible for the overall supervision of commercial land development projects for conformity to contractual agreements made with clients within budget and on schedule.  In addition to leading a team of engineers and technical professionals, this position will be actively involved in professional associations and community organizations.

Responsibilities:

Prepare proposals and client agreementsDevelop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leadersCoordinate and monitor project tasks, budgets and schedulesResponsible for the technical and professional development of project team(s)Lead and actively participate in the design, plan production and permitting for land development projectsParticipate in the development of company design and production standardsActively participate in professional associations and civic organizations #LI-JR1

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural or Civil engineeringProfessional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the state of Texas15 years' experience managing substantial projects from conception to completion including estimating costs of technical tasks in commercial development; at least 8 of those years managing projects in the Central Texas areaExtensive knowledge of design and construction practicesProven ability to effectively communicate, both oral and written skills, with all level of employees in an organizationProven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with all level of employees within an organization as well as with clients, public agency officials and community leadersProven ability to lead a team of engineers and support personnelActive involvement in professional associations and civic organizationsMust be able to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday
