Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to oversee major construction projects for rail & bus transit operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
Responsible to provide managerial and supervisory support to a local transit agency’s construction program.Mentor project team members and foster a working environment where culturally diverse project staff can work together cooperatively to deliver the project on time and on budget through effective team leadershipPlans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project.Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.Serves as primary point of contact within the Client.Acts on behalf of and with the authority of the Client as to roles and responsibilities to successfully implement this program.Required to be local (DMV area) and onsite during operational hours.What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, construction management, business, or related field15+ years demonstrable experience managing large projectsRelevant bus or rail facility construction experience, preferably BEB facilityExperience with Design-Build contractsExperience with PDB, CMR and other incentive-based contracts is preferredProven ability to manage complex budgets and schedulesKnowledge of working in a public sectorAbility to pass a government background check.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
A Professional Engineer (PE) licenseAmerican Institute of Architects (AIA) Certification; and/orCertified Construction Manager (CCM) certificationMinimum Clearance Required to Start:
