Senior Project Manager- ERP

Welcome Home!We’re more than Canada’s largest independent hardware and building supplies retailer—we’re part of communities across the nation. Driving Successful ERP Implementations As a Senior Project Manager- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), you will be responsible for delivering the objectives of ERP-focused programs and projects, including the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). Led by the Vice-President, ERP & Project Management Office this opportunity will suit someone has experience with ERP implementation and systems.   Ready to make an impact in a new role? Here’s how:Collaborate with stakeholders to define the ERP project scope clearly, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Manage scope changes through a formal change control process to keep projects on track.Create and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines for ERP implementation, ensuring alignment with overall program milestones and organizational priorities.Estimate project work efforts specific to ERP implementation, including system configuration, data migration, testing, and user training. Secure agreement from key stakeholders on schedules and budgets.Coordinate with resource managers to staff the project and manage relationships with external partners, including system integrators and software vendors, ensuring effective delivery.Regularly update project sponsors, executive leadership, and stakeholders on the progress, risks, and issues related to the ERP program, while proposing actionable solutions.Manage the ERP program budget, including tracking costs for licensing, integration, and training. Provide regular budget updates to ensure financial accountability and alignment.Identify and resolve technical, business, and organizational challenges related to ERP implementation. Proactively mitigate risks, including those unique to ERP projects, such as data migration or integration failures.We’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience with ERP systems would be an asset.Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated project management experience, including managing medium to large ERP implementations with a focus on system integration, data migration, and organizational readiness.Deep understanding of ERP systems and implementation methodologies, with experience in Dynamics 365 or similar ERP platforms in retail or supply chain environments being highly desirable.Proven expertise in project management methodologies, including waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches, with a PMP or equivalent certification.Strong knowledge of business process transformation: Understanding end-to-end organizational processes and the impact of ERP systems on workflows, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.Ability to balance risk, cost, and benefits, particularly in ERP implementations, including identifying and mitigating risks related to data migration, system customization, and stakeholder adoption.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with demonstrated success in influencing cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders during complex ERP projects.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver projects on time and within budget.Experience in vendor management and collaboration: Proven ability to coordinate effectively with external system integrators, software providers, and consultants throughout an ERP project lifecycle.Results-oriented and adaptable: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining focus on quality outcomes.The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model. How we’ll make you feel at HomeOur Team Members enjoy life at Home with our strong culture of support and inclusion, excellent benefits, and a team that always has your back.  You will receive:  Competitive earnings opportunity. Annual Incentive/Bonus Program. Comprehensive Benefits Program including: Health, Dental, Vision, Paramedical, Disability coverage, Out of Country Travel Insurance, Life Insurance, Employee Family Assistance Program. Defined Contribution Pension Plan with Company Match, and choice of contribution level. Group RRSP. Discounts from our corporate retail stores. Home & Auto Insurance discounts. Competitive vacation time.  Personal and sick time. Employee Discount Program through Venngo WorkPerks. Bring your unique skills, thrive with interesting and challenging work, and experience what it’s like at Home.
