Summary:
A Senior IT Project Manager/Scrum master is responsible for managing the overall scrum process, as well as managing small to medium projects.
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project teams and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, releases, and timeline constraints. The Scrum Master will need to be able to facilitate the daily scrums, identify risk/issues before leading to the next sprint, and work with the perspective engineering leads and Project Manager to ensure alignment across the board. This role is responsible for driving and orchestrating on-time, high quality releases with our Multifamily portfolio that encompasses Smart technology. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, familiarity with Smart technology and Salesforce, and an understanding of Scrum and agile processes.
Responsibilities:
Calculate the monthly development and quality assurance (QA) capacity for optimal resource planning. Prioritize project intake based on business priorities and update JIRA boards with necessary details. Verify all JIRA tickets contain required details for development and QA processes. Proactively identify and mitigate risks and remove obstacles. Help with the release preparation/strategy in coordination with the Release Manager. Communicate plans and status; escalate issues as required. Work with small to medium sized teams.Qualifications:
Proven experience in project management (7-9 years). Certified Scrum master with recent experience (5-7 years). Expertise using JIRA. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders effectively. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Smart Sheets. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of software development processes/Scrum processes. Problem-solving skills to address issues promptly and efficiently. Ability to identify risk and mitigation strategy. Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure project accuracy and efficiency. Nice to have: IOT experience/Smart Home technology.Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $91,200 -$120,000 and is based on experience and qualifications.
Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance.
