Role Overview

Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring effective planning, execution, and timely completion. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, representing the project team and maintaining clear communication of project goals and updates. Maintain strong client relationships, actively pursuing additional sales opportunities and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project execution. Organize the project team, assign tasks, and provide leadership to ensure smooth project progression. Strong people skills are essential for this role. Collaborate with Line Managers and the Business Unit Vice President to secure necessary resources for the project. Create and manage the project budget, ensuring it reflects the scope and resources needed while monitoring spending to meet financial targets. Implement cost-saving strategies, maintaining control over project costs and development. Collaborate with various functions including design, procurement, assembly, and client teams to ensure coordinated project execution. Provide regular updates both internally (VP Project Execution, CEO, CFO) and externally (Client), including risk, opportunities, challenges, and successes. Document all key project decisions, interpretations, and agreements related to the project. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure contractual obligations are met, protecting Techouse's rights under project agreements.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant technical field from an accredited institution. Strong experience in managing offshore-related projects, specifically in the development and modification of new facilities. Experience in water treatment systems, sulphate removal technologies required. For the Project Director level, international large project experience is required. Proven expertise in managing projects across all phases, ensuring successful achievement of objectives. Strong analytical abilities for problem-solving and effective decision-making. Strategic thinking and negotiation skills are crucial for project management. Demonstrated ability to manage projects within scope, budget, and timeline using recognized project management methodologies and tools. Fluency in English and Norwegian (oral and written)
