Our successful Senior Project Manager of Strategic Initiatives will oversee the project management, planning, execution, tracking, and reporting of Ostomy Care’s variety of strategic initiatives with particular focus on lifecycle management projects in accordance with agreed upon scope, timing, and budget. Driving cross functional project and/or program execution through collaboration with various functional groups, including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Commercial teams.

This is a US based Hybrid role requiring commute to the Lexington, MA office 2-3 days a week

 

Key Responsibilities:

Create and own a framework, governance, and methodology for lifecycle management programs within Ostomy Care that will serve as a “playbook” for future activityConsistently project manage and deliver high priority technically complex projects to ensure completion on time within the agreed scope and budgetWork with cross functional core teams to provide a coordinated and collaborative approach to executing on strategic projects balancing speed of execution and associated risksCreate detailed work plans for assigned projects which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete each project and establish the resources (time, money, capital equipment, etc.) required to complete the project activitiesWork within a cross functional team to ensure workstreams are appropriately planned and integrated into master schedules; cross-functional team includes of upstream and downstream commercial partners including regional marketing, country marketing and supply chainDevelop communication plan and provide updates on assigned projects to stakeholders both horizontally and verticallyReview project schedules with senior management and project team members; revise schedules/plan as required to ensure successful completionProactively identify and mitigate project risks.  Escalate as appropriate to ensure timely resolution of identified issuesSet up files to ensure all project information is appropriately documented and securedSupport business to develop and enhance project management tools, processes, and systems to ensure consistent and efficient ways of working

Skills & Experience:

Qualifications/Education:

BS in Engineering or Science; MS preferred8+ years of experience successfully managing and delivering strategic projects for a medical device companyProject management qualification is preferred (PMP or equivalent)Strong proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, database software, SAP, MS Outlook, Project Management Cloud SoftwareStrong communicator; Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques in-line with an outstanding Project ManagerLeader and team-worker who actively looks to develop themself and others; proactively networks across a complex organizational hierarchy and works cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals and resolve problemsThought leader who is willing to appropriately challenge the status quo, test prior assumptions, and drive urgency in execution even in the face of uncertainty or pushback
