FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Project Manager to work for our client within the consulting sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in either Telford or Worthing.

Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their established and rapidly expanding team, working across a diverse range of technologies and areas of the business. You will lead, manage, and deliver one or more complex projects or programmes using a variety of recognised methodologies, including agile, via several multi-disciplined, highly skilled teams. Working closely with some of their clients to build relationships, manage expectations and develop and establish new streams of work. You will play a leading role in establishing the appropriate commercial proposals alongside establishing delivery priorities and plans, managing risks and dependencies. 

Responsibilities

Delivery of one or more projects or a programme through the full lifecycle Provide leadership and management of project and programme teams Supporting new business development including the development of commercial propositions Accountability for all aspects of delivery including risks, issues, scope, cost and timeline Actively manage progress and financial reporting using best practice Actively manages the client relationship and their expectations Conduct client negotiations to agree terms for changes to the scope of the project or programme to ensure commercial viability and to set realistic expectations Accountable for the delivery of complex projects or a programme, typically involving multiple teams and/or suppliers
