**ASnapshot of Your Day (position overview)** The Senior Project Procurement Professional is the procurement lead in the project execution phase for Large Rotating Equipment (LRE) and represents the procurement function to the project organization and the customer in the Americas Region! The role manages project budgets, introduces sourcing strategies, and coordinates site support purchases to drive project success and operational results. The PPM champions project needs within procurement to align buyer efforts with project goals. The Senior PPM also manages extended scope and Power Island projects, including equipment budgets and buyers outside the LRE organization. **HowYou’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)** + Analyze scope of supply,contractual obligations, and customer project needs while identifyingprocurement risks and opportunities. + Incorporate changes in suppliercontracts to mitigate non-conformances and claims, ensuring smooth projectexecution. + Expedite orders, resolvedelivery or quality issues, and serve as a liaison between suppliers andthe project organization. + Develop RFQs, identify newsupply sources, and follow up on non-conformance costs with buyers andsuppliers. + Maintain project plans, updatepurchasing systems, and ensure transparency on resource availability withearly deviation alerts. + Collaborate with ProjectManagement and procurement functions to resolve technical oradministrative issues and provide qualified reports on project progress,expediting, and supplier performance. **WhatYou Bring (requirements)** + Bachelors degree or equivalentexperience in supply chain or procurement. + 6+ years of successfulexperience in purchasing, project management, or similar role managingsophisticated objectives in a matrix organization + Applies a broad understandingof their specialization to complete moderately advanced assignments, usingfundamental concepts, practices, and procedures. + Demonstrates a strong grasp ofthe organization’s business practices and challenges, workingindependently with an organized and disciplined approach. + Excels in communication,teamwork, and adaptability within a diverse work environment; willing totravel up to 15% domestically or internationally. + Applicants must be legallyauthorized for employment in the United States without need for current orfuture employer-sponsored work authorization.
