Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities:Leads setting up work management systems and metrics. Uses metrics to drive continuous improvement of team and leads projects to address gapsUses data analytics to track and communicate supplier performance related to on time delivery, exceptions, quality, and price changesCommunicates performance trends internally and externally, including areas of immediate support needed. Works to align United and supplier data. Collaborates with cross-functional departments to best support United’s operationSingle point of contact for suppliers and relays priorities and initiatives. Challenges suppliers to meet departmental goals. In charge of automated reporting and team special projectsQualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics4+ years supply chain or related experience2+ years data analytics experienceSupplier management skillsWork management systemsFoundry, SQL or equivalent software knowledgeKnowledge of purchasing and sourcing processesEfficient with time and adaptable to changing prioritiesWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Master's degree or equivalent experiencePMP CertificationThe base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $108,790.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
