Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.

In transfer pricing at PwC, you will focus on providing guidance and support to clients on transfer pricing matters. In this field, you will help businesses establish and maintain appropriate pricing for transactions between related entities, maintaining compliance with tax regulations and minimising the risk of disputes.

The ideal candidate should have experience in both QA but also product development experience as a BA:

Quality Assurance in Agile Environments:

Demonstrable experience in QA of applications in Agile environments, ensuring that deliverables meet established quality standards.

Requirements Refinement and Story Estimation:

Actively participate in requirements refinement and story estimation, collaborating with development teams and stakeholders to ensure a clear and accurate understanding of requirements.

Test Plan Preparation and Execution:

Demonstrated skill in preparing test plans, creating test cases and test data, and maintaining rigor in overall test methodology.Execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality and performance.

Defect Management and Visibility:

Ensure delivery of quality requirements by teams through the testing process, defect management and visibility, and test team management.Use defect management and issue tracking tools to document and resolve issues efficiently.

Collaboration and Communication:

Cooperate with senior management and peers across the organization to influence the tactical direction of application development.Facilitate the overall testing methodology and communication of the test system.SKILLS:

QA

Manual testing techniques. Experience using Azure DevOps & Postman, Testing techniques.  Development, UI and API manual testing experience, SQL knowledge (Desirable), Agile Methodologies (Scrum), Advanced English level.  Manual QA / Azure DevOps or Jira / PostmanFunctional Testing: Regression, Smoke, Integration testing.(Nice to have) Knowledge in QA Automation, including the ability to develop and maintain test automation frameworks.
Use automation tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.

Business Analyst: 

Analysis and Problem Solving: A BA must be able to identify problems, analyze data and propose effective solutions. This includes analytical and critical thinking skills.Effective Communication: The ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing is essential. A BA must be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa.Requirements Management: Must be proficient in requirements gathering, documentation and management. This includes the ability to work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear technical specifications.Business Knowledge: A good BA must have a deep understanding of the business and industry in which he/she works. This allows him/her to align technology solutions with business objectives.Interpersonal Skills: The ability to work well with others is crucial. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.Analysis Tools and Techniques: Familiarity with analysis tools and techniques such as flowcharts, process modeling, and data analysis. Knowledge in specific tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and project management software1 is also helpful.Project Management: Although not always a requirement, having project management skills can be very beneficial. This includes planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure that deadlines and objectives are met.Adaptability and Flexibility: The ability to adapt to change and work in a dynamic environment is essential. A BA must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
