We’re looking for a Senior Software QA Engineer to take a leading role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile applications across iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin). In this role, you’ll define testing strategies, drive automation efforts, collaborate cross-functionally, and help foster a culture of quality across the organization.

🔍 Quality Strategy & Execution
Create test plans based on product specs and lead QA for complex features and major mobile releases on iOS and Android. Identify risks early and ensure smooth, high-quality delivery.

⚙️ Test Automation & Technical Skills
Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Appium, Espresso (Kotlin), and XCUITest (Swift). Ensure robust test coverage across apps, APIs, and backend systems. Contribute to basic performance and security testing.

📈 Collaboration & Communication
Partner with PMs, developers, and DevOps to define scope and release readiness. Communicate test status clearly and promote QA best practices throughout development.

🧑‍🏫 Leadership & Mentorship
Mentor junior QA engineers, improve QA processes and tools, and represent QA in planning and review sessions to drive quality across the SDLC.

Competencies (What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role)

5+ years of experience in software QA, with a strong focus on mobile app testing (iOS and Android).

Proficiency in automated testing for Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS) mobile apps.

Strong hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks like Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.

Solid understanding of database/backend systems, test data management, and API testing.

Introductory experience (or a willingness to grow) in performance and security testing.

Demonstrated ability to lead QA efforts for complex projects or high-impact features.

Strong communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.
