About the Role
In this opportunity as a Senior QA Engineer, you will:
Automation Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement comprehensive automation strategies aligned with organizational goals
Design scalable and maintainable automation frameworks
Identify areas for automation across different testing types (functional, regression, etc.)
Test Automation Development:Create and maintain robust, reusable automated test scripts
Ensure high code quality and adherence to coding standards in automation scripts
CI/CD Integration:Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and deployment pipelines
Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize test execution in CI/CD environments
Tool Selection and Implementation:Evaluate, recommend, and implement appropriate automation tools and technologies
Stay updated on emerging automation trends and tools
Reporting and Analytics:Generate comprehensive reports on automation test results
Analyze automation metrics and provide insights to stakeholders
Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing:Mentor junior QA engineers in automation best practices
Conduct training sessions on automation tools and techniques
Collaboration:Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability
Continuous Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements in the automation workflow
Optimize existing automated tests for better efficiency and reliability
Troubleshooting:Debug and resolve complex issues in automated tests
Provide technical support for automation-related problems
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Senior QA Engineer if your background includes:
5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation.Proven track record of designing and implementing automated testing frameworksExperience with various types of automation (UI, API, Performance)Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably C#Experience in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient codeKnowledge of object-oriented programming principlesIn-depth experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG)Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines)Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsAbility to lead automation initiatives and projectsExperience in creating automation reports and dashboardsSkill in analyzing automation metrics and providing insightsDemonstrated history of staying updated with the latest automation trends and technologies#LI-FP2
