The Senior QA Automation Test Engineer will play a critical role on testing applications in an automated fashion for Lab49 clients. Working in a collaborative and innovative project team, with direct client-facing interactions, you will have an opportunity to apply your skills and expertise to create automated testing capabilities for applications that solve business problems and enhance performance for the clients. Key Responsibilities: Designing and building advanced testing capabilities for applications across platforms, while understanding our products from both a technical and business perspective Communicating with leadership, product owners, other technologists and users to create working testing software based on an understanding of business and technical prioritiesBuilding scalable Test Automation Framework utilizing industry leading tools like Playwright, Robot FrameworkWorking with data sources and APIs and build a solid Test Data Management Strategy and utilitiesAssisting development teams in improving testing efficiency and identifying non-compliance with requirements, including edge cases, usability and general reliabilityWorking with development engineers to track down defects and enable the shift left test strategies.Actively contribute to improving software prior to distribution to Lab49 clientsAdvocating test-driven development and behavior driven test automation and deliver high quality testing capabilitiesRequired Skills and Experience:Minimum 9+ years of hands-on automated testing experience is mandatoryHands-on experience with Playwright is mandatoryHands-on coding experience in JavaScript is mandatory for building automated test suitesExperience working with REST API for building backend automated suitesExperience working in an Agile environmentWorking knowledge of the general development landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologiesExcellent command of written and spoken EnglishExcellent communication skillsPreferred Skills and Experience:Hands-on coding experience in Java Hands-on experience with React Testing Library and VitestHands-on experience with Robot Framework Why us:Join a team of experts pushing the boundaries of financial services products. At LAB49, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with industry leaders, and accelerate your career growth in a dynamic environment.
