What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior QA Engineer on the US Risk Technology team, you’ll design and execute tests to ensure that CIBC delivers high quality software to our risk management partners. Your focus will be testing extract-transform-load (ETL) workflows in SQL, Talend, and Databricks (Python) used in our anti-money laundering (AML) and capital stress testing tools. Testing is currently manual and one of your objectives will be to introduce automated testing integrated with our DevOps pipelines. You’ll be part of US Risk Technology, a new team with the mandate to improve CIBC’s risk management capabilities through data, tools, and processes – enabling our bank’s continued growth.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2 days per week on-site, while other days may be remote.
