Senior QA Engineer – Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM)Summary of the role:

Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) is at the heart of all processes of the travel, with products and solutions designed to protect the digital identity of customers (professionals and travellers), ensuring the security of Amadeus products and services. This entails authentication, access control, identity administration, and fraud detection. The activities consist of designing, developing, maintaining and operating the platform, ensuring the utmost security of any Amadeus Solution.
CIAM operates as a SAFe ART (the Customer Identity and Access Management Agile Release Train), managing our product evolution towards a modern, standard, and intelligent platform. Business requests come from all business domains, including airline, airport, hospitality, travel channel and payment, to cope with core business evolution, new standards and innovation.
The CIAM platform deals with several million users and sustains 100K transactions per second at peak time. Services delivered by the CIAM train are used by all product engineering divisions, including Mission Critical Applications. The level of expected stability, resiliency, efficiency, and scalability is extremely high, with support teams available 24/7.

In this role you’ll:
Define test strategy and test plan containing test cases (functional and non-functional), ensure traceability with specifications and customer requirements
Ensure compliance of test strategy with CI/CD guidelines, SDL guidelines and QA best practices/standards from the industry (ISTQB)
Attend and contribute to specification/architecture reviews, provide feedback, raise potential impact, risk, issue or missed gap
Be a leader in quality transformation: show accountability, prioritize automation, engage in shift-left approach, share knowledge, act as pioneer in adopting new tools, drive QA processes and best practices
Provide Sign-Off (Go/No-Go) on tested features based on clearly defined exit criteria
Monitor and continuously assess the need to add/update/remove test cases to existing regression and CI/CD pipeline based on metrics (stability, test coverage, non-relevant tests)
About the ideal candidate
To succeed in your new role, you’re required to have relevant experience in the following areas:
Strong scripting capability is required : Python or JavaScript
Experience with Amadeus Test Tool Server is preferred
Familiarity with UI test automation tools : Selenium, Playwright or others
Knowledge of HTTP protocol is a plus
Knowledge of OAuth2 is a plus
