The Role
Veeva Systems is looking for a functional Senior QA Engineer with black box and automation testing experience to join our rapidly growing team. This is a hands-on position for delivering quality SaaS applications in the Commercial space into production.What You'll DoAbility to work in an agile, small team environment with a focus on speed and qualityCreate testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports assessing quality and associated riskMentor junior SQAs in QA methodologies and skillsWork closely with the automation group to automate features for better regression coverageDevelop deep expertise in the productConduct QA tests and verify outcomes within schedules/timelinesWork with software engineers, product managers, and other QA testers in an Agile team environmentRequirements7+ years relevant work experience, including software development and/or software test automationStrong verbal and written communication skillsUnderstanding of Software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches (black box and/or automated testing) in a software company with short release cyclesExperience in writing test cases and automating them, covering both sanity and in-depth testing including and not limited to boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency testsStrong verbal and written communication skillsBachelors / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experienceMust be located in the Pacific or Mountain Time ZonesNice to HaveExperience with Jira, Confluence, and TestRailExperience in a SaaS environment that has an agile development processPerks & BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and basic life insuranceFlexible PTO and company paid holidaysRetirement programs1% charitable giving programCompensationBase pay: $90,000 - $165,000The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role.
