Job Description Job Purpose ICE Data Services India Private Limited., a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a passionate QA Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team in Hyderabad, India. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automation principles and practices, as well as a strong background in QA. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our automation framework. They will also work closely with the development team to ensure that our software is of the highest quality. Responsibilities Evaluate the application and test cases to be automated. Work with QA Engineers to create a library of automated tests to maximize test coverage. Analyze product requirements and ensure the testing is aligned with a risk-based test approach, mitigating risk exposure within all phases of testing. Participate in analyzing root causes of problems found and assist developers with countermeasures to remove the causes Evaluate and recommend enhancements for the product under test Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities. Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and confidence to work with senior stakeholders from development and product Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of QA methods and procedures used and undertake improvement projects to improve QA effectiveness and efficiency Provide release support during production software deployment. A "can do" attitude and enjoys working within a highly collaborative work environment. Knowledge and Experience 7+ years’ experience testing applications and writing UI automation scripts in Playwright (JS Script), Cypress (JS Script) and/or Selenium (Java) Proficient in designing/creating test automation framework B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or equivalent Strong MS SQL experience Good understanding of Quality Assurance concepts, practices, and tools Strong communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects at the same time Experience with mainstream defect tracking tools and test management tools Desirable Experience in the Financial Industry (experience with Fixed Income products is preferred) Experience of testing web applications using - React / Angular (front end) and .NET (backend services) Experience of working in an Agile environment Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
