Senior QA Engineer

Join our team as a QA Automation Engineer and play a critical role in transforming our test processes through advanced automation and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You’ll drive test coverage, improve automation frameworks, and mentor colleagues, contributing to delivering high-quality solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.

What You’ll Do:

\n\nCollaborate with the Principal QA Engineer to define and apply advanced test engineering principles for sustainable, high-value test automation.\nShape the strategic direction of our automation toolset and testing processes.\nWork with developers, QA engineers, architects, and Product Owners to optimize software design for automation.\nMentor and coach team members in adopting automation practices.\nReview requirements to ensure robust test coverage for hardware and software.\nDevelop and execute manual and automated test cases for new features and bug fixes.\nMaintain and enhance automation frameworks to minimize manual testing, increase efficiency, and improve product quality.\nPartner with development teams to design automation-ready features.\nManage and report manual and automated test execution outcomes.\nUse Agile methodologies to optimize workflows and drive quality outcomes.\nCommunicate with technical and operational audiences across various channels.\nMaintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and field engineers.\n

Degree in a related engineering field (or equivalent experience).

\n

 At least 5+ years in software/firmware and hardware test automation.

\n

Proficiency in manual system testing, embedded applications validation, and Python programming (C# or other OOP languages is a plus).

\n

Hands-on experience with GPS & mobile communication testing (bench and field-based).

\n

Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, TFS, and TestRail. Agile Scrum methodology expertise.

\n

Knowledge of OBD, J-Bus, and CAN technologies is advantageous. Bonus: Experience with mobile application test automation.

\n

A personal vehicle and license for occasional test drives.
