Responsibilities Responsibilities & Deliverables: Design and develop business test scenarios cases based on Requirements Document/ Functional Specification/Design documents/Use Case/User Stories. Convert customer business processes to detailed workflows Experience in testing integrated solutions Identify gaps in our test scenarios and document the gaps. Review Business Requirements / User stories / Functional Specification documents Review and provide feedback during User Story review/walkthrough meeting with Development / BA / QA. Document detailed test cases and test data for testing the functional change Prepare Test data and Plan and execute the test as per project timelines. Report detailed defects with all analysis. Work with development for defect recreation and fix re-testing. Help in continuously improving test cases and Regression test coverage Defect logging and follow up to its closure Highlight risks and Business Impact of failure reported during testing Provide feedback on the quality of the project/product release by analysing the failures. Contribute in Identifying and automating test scenarios. Additionally, following testing experience with below tools are required Microsoft Power BI Microsoft SQL database SQL Server Integration Service SQL Server Analysis Service Good SQL reporting skill Required Skills and abilities Banking domain experience is preferred Hands on experience with tools like HP Quality centre, JIRA would be added advantage Understanding of test areas such as functional, system testing etc. Exposure to SQL Should have flair for testing and quality improvement. Ability to write very clear bug reports easily understood by development. Excellent communication skills. Should be able to clearly communicate to cross functional teams like Development, Customer Services and Product Management. Exposure to Test automation is an added advantage. Experience in working on agile teams with TDD / BDD approach is a plus Microsoft Azure components - Azure data factory, Azure SQL database, Azure analysis services Education/Experience Engineering BE/B.Tech or equivalent. 5 to 7years of QA experience Should have worked for 2-3 years in testing ETL systems
