We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team in Halifax. Our team is focused on digital platforms, creating world-class analytics products. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the evolution of our infrastructure.

What will you do?

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Node.js, Python, and Robot Framework to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and data APIs.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across the stack.

Perform functional testing across web applications and data APIs to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.

Utilize analytical thinking to design test cases, optimize test coverage, and enhance the overall testing process.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure the adoption of cutting-edge testing methodologies and tools.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of experience in QA engineering and automated testing.

Solid experience writing complex E2E test scenarios for use cases/business requirements and developing automated test scripts.

Experience with functional testing of web applications and data APIs.

Experience working with technical teams (Developers/Quality Engineers/Business Analysts).

Nice-to-have:

Experience in the banking or financial services industry.

Knowledge of capital markets and electronic trading flows.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
